Day 21: The fruit worked.
I’m down 1.5 pounds today so a new total finally. I’m back to my chicken breast with fresh veggies for lunch and dinner today. I am pretty anxious about tomorrows weigh in. Monday is the official 3 week mark and I’d really like to be down another 1.5 pounds to reach 20 total for the first half of this round. I’m not sure if I’ll make it or not. I’ve been told that when you cheat – it affects your ability to burn fat and lose weight for up to 3 days. I’ll have to see how things shake out.
Measuring results.
I’m completely irrational about the scale now. I weigh myself several times during the day to see how I’m doing. I know in my head this isn’t helpful, but for some reason, I like seeing how much I can gain/lose during the course of the day. Fortunately, I now can tell I’m losing in other ways. I mentioned this before, in my fat pants post. As part of tracking, measurements and pictures were taken on day one. I am going to re-measure tomorrow (3 week results) but I can tell I’m losing inches. Definitely losing at my waist and hips. But it’s the other things that I can see as well. Shoes are loose – who ever heard of losing weight in your feet? Rings and my watch are loose – another odd place. I could wear a shirt yesterday that had been too tight to fit comfortably. So back fat – bye-bye!
