Day 24: Frustration sets in
I’m pretty bummed. I didn’t lose any weight despite following the diet exactly. I did have to eat meals close together, but I got all my calories in (might be shy by 30 or so) and all the water. I feel like the weight should be coming off 1-2 pounds daily like week one and week 2. At this rate, I’m not sure I’m going to get the 40 pound loss in my first six weeks!
Regrouping.
There’s really nothing else to do. So after I saw the number on the scale, I decided to just make sure and stay steady, and keep at it. I know that the program works, but I really felt that my “cheating” and stalling were behind me. Today I took the advice of another participant, and used raw apple cider vinegar mixed with a little pepper and sweetener to make a salad dressing. This is supposed to help with flavor and also be a fat burning agent of some sort. It was better than I expected and I’ll use it again. Salad with no dressing sucks.
Results so far.
Holding at 19 pounds. *sigh*
